Baseball

We spent a lot of time this Summer at the ballfields (4 nights a week!).  Parker and Owen both loved playing.  This was Owen's first year not in a Y league so it was really exciting for him.  Scott was his coach so that made it even more great.

Addie was a trooper, she didn't seem to mind being at games all the time.  It always helped that she got to join in on the team snack at the end.

Parker loved his season too.  He was on the Redwings this year and the team had 3 of his best buddies on it.  Scott also helped coach Parker's team.  The Redwings did great, they made it to the tournament and won!  Parker was of course elated.  They received two trophies which made it even more sweet!

After winning the championship!

Aunt Amanda was even here for the big game!

Addie Turns 3!

I can't believe she's already three - I should be able to since she acts like she's twelve! We had the neighbors, the Ensigns & the Wexelblatts, over for cake and ice cream.  Addie loved it.  Addie wanted a pink castle cake so I made her one.  Not my best work but thank goodness 3 year olds aren't that critical!

Parker's Baptism

It's hard to believe that Parker is old enough to get baptized.  He's been so excited about it.  For months, anytime anyone would mention his birthday he would talk about how excited he is because he's getting baptized and getting his own set of scriptures.

Scott & Parks ready for his baptism

Parker & his cousins (Connor, Courtney, Corbe, Brady and Owen & Addison).

Parker was overjoyed to have his cousin Connor come out with Grandma & Grandpa Lee.  Parker looks up to and admires Connor so it was so nice of him to come (even though it was right in the middle of finals).  He also gave the most wonderful prayer.

Parker with his grandparents.  He was so lucky to have them there!

Our Family.
The whole gang.
My brother Corbitt and his family also came.  It was soooo nice of them to make the drive.  Aunt Loretta lead the music and Courtney did a beautiful job singing Search, Ponder and Pray.

We also had some friends and neighbors who were at the baptism, the Wexelblatt Family, Scott & Brady Brydwell, Krista and Alex Ensign and Alan Smith (Liz came at the end to congratulate).  It was so nice of them to come.

A few more shots.
Eileen's birthday was also while they were here.

Corbitt & Loretta and the kids stayed with us.  It was so fun.  We went to Kings Island, Whippy Dip, swimming and they came to Owen's baseball game.  We hope they come back to visit soon!
